How do I record a therapy session?
Open TheraNotes and tap the record button on the home screen. Grant microphone access when prompted, and TheraNotes will capture your session audio. You can also upload a pre-recorded audio file.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. Your recordings, transcripts, and insights are kept secure and private. We use industry-standard encryption and your data is never sold. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual sessions from within the app, or use the "Delete All Data" option in Settings to remove both local and server-side data and erase your account.
How accurate are the AI transcripts?
TheraNotes uses advanced AI for transcription which provides high accuracy, including speaker labeling. However, results may vary depending on audio quality, accents, and background noise.
Is TheraNotes a replacement for therapy?
No. TheraNotes is a tool for reflection and organization — not a substitute for professional medical or therapeutic advice. If you are in crisis, please contact your local emergency services.
What devices are supported?
TheraNotes is currently available on iOS via the App Store. Android support is coming soon — you can join the waitlist on our home page.
